Description

Seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee and manage accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP. Key responsibilities include financial statement preparation, month-end/year-end close, general ledger management, cost accounting, budgeting, internal controls, tax compliance, and process improvements. The role involves supervising accounting staff and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Financial reporting and analysis

SAP, ERP, QuickBooks

General ledger

CPA Certification (Preferred, Not Required)

Experience in Private-Equity Backed or Mid-Market Environments

Tax Compliance Experience (Ensures accurate and timely tax filings, coordinates with external tax professionals, maintains compliance with regulations)

Process Improvement & Automation (Identifies opportunities to streamline accounting operations, implements automation for efficiency and accuracy)

Strong Interpersonal & Communication Skills

Adaptability to Changing Priorities

Experience supporting physical inventory and cycle counts.

Exposure to manufacturing or dietary supplement industries.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valencia, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $67.00/hr.
