Job Title: Join Our Crew: Construction Laborer

Job Description

As a Construction Laborer, you will report to the supervisor and be responsible for a variety of tasks including addressing material moves, general labor functions, and meeting setups. You will work under minimal supervision and have daily contact with external suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities

Assist in the movement of goods within the facility to support operations.

Assist in the movement of furniture to support office operations.

Provide general labor assistance to skilled tradesmen.

Provide support performing preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.

Transport maintenance materials and tools using a pallet jack.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in using construction hand tools and power tools.

Experience with concrete handling.

Five or more years of related experience is required.

Possession of applicable certifications, licenses, and a valid driver's license.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Effective communication skills to speak before groups of customers or employees.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of West Allis, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
