Administrative Assistant I

Location: Sugar Land, TX

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Compensation: $23/hr

Type: Temp-to-Perm

Overview:

We are seeking an entry-level Administrative Assistant I to support daily office operations, perform light data entry, and assist with basic inventory tracking. This role also includes supporting the accounting department, particularly during an upcoming transition from QuickBooks to Sage Intacct in February 2025. Prior experience with QuickBooks is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records

Assist with light inventory tracking and updates

Support accounting tasks and documentation

Help prepare for and participate in the transition to Sage Intacct

Provide general administrative support, including filing, scanning, and communication with internal staff

Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks

Qualifications:

1+ year of administrative or entry-level accounting experience preferred

QuickBooks experience required

Familiarity with or willingness to learn Sage Intacct

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus

Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work onsite in Sugar Land
