Responsibilities :
Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Cross division collaboration with software engineers to identify and resolve problems related to data accuracy, UI improvements, security measures and build pipelines. Identifying customer needs and business priorities across a broad user-base by communicating directly with customers, seeking feedback from senior and director level stakeholders, and participating in bi-weekly meetings with Product leadership. Leading the support model for scrum masters, product owners, software engineers as they use the platform to comply with corporate governance by providing help over Slack, responding to all customer needs within one business day. Lead and guide team members cut through ambiguity, in order to achieve actionable governance goals. Provide timely and accurate reporting on IT project governance goals to senior and director level stakeholders. Monitor project deliverables using Jira, refining and maintaining a backlog of work in Jira ensuring all milestones are achieved. Lead/mentor, coordinate and guide contributions from inner-source IT project personnel across different engineering teams, ensuring that MongoDB REST APIs are developed to conform to project standards. Ensure code quality through timely, and thorough reviews of pull requests or collaboration through pair-programming. Ideate and elaborate on solutions for complex technical problems and personally implementing or guiding project team members to an ideal solution. Address any security vulnerabilities using Splunk, Dynatrace and other observability tools within established corporate standard timelines. Develop and maintain Fusion Trusted Platform features including authentication through Next Auth, Python backend automation, React frontend, and email notification system with SendGrid, using technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, Redux, Next.js, MUI declarative UI, Jinja, HTML, CSS, and Python. Data retrieval and processing from NoSQL and Airtable databases. Analyze, consume and discover new insights from large datasets through the use of frameworks like Python Pandas, NumPy and Jupyter Notebooks, etc. Perform deployments using Docker, Jenkins, Vault, and AWS ECS pipeline and S3 buckets. Delivering work on time, while maintaining a high level of quality in codebase through use of Playwright and Cypress for automated testing. Audit and propose accessibility remediation of internal React based declarative UI framework using Deque developer tools. Regularly test and identify opportunities for performance improvements in the codebase, leading to lower operational costs. Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing Git pull request contributions on a regular basis to formulate release notes. Flex into different roles as needed, using tools like Figma to provide user experience solutions. Telecommuting is permitted.
Minimum Requirements : Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a software engineering/data science-related occupation. Telecommuting is permitted.
Special Requirements : Position requires at least 3 years of experience in each of the following skills:
Experience using React, Next.js, NodeJS, Redux and/or webpack to create web applications leveraging advanced skills in Python, C++, Javascript, Typescript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with design tokens, Material UI, Qt QML and Web components development, ensuring that user interface designs remain consistent and easily implementable across different parts of a product.
Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Playwright and Cypress using knowledge of unit tests, E2E tests and automation testing.
Experience using NoSQL, MongoDB, Airtable, etc. to design, transform and implement scalable database solutions through proven experience with SQL.
Experience with Pandas, NumPy and data analysis tools to process, manipulate, sanitize, transform or analyze large scale data sets using Python. Aggregate, organize and identify service metadata for the division using advanced, in-depth knowledge of desktop, vendor and cloud services across PDMS/Fusion.
Use Power BI to connect to various data sources, transform and model data, and create interactive reports and dashboards to provide actionable business insights leveraging knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data visualization best practices.
Use technologies like Jenkins, Docker, Azure, AWS ECS, EC2, Lambda and Step Functions to deliver scalable and resilient web applications leveraging CI/CD best practices including containerization, load balancers, and security groups, etc.
Experience with developing various projects with traditional design patterns such as MVC, MVP, object-oriented, etc. which involve structuring applications into distinct components to ensure clean architecture, maintainability, and scalability. Utilize proper data structures and design algorithms to provide efficient solutions for projects' needs. Improve application performance by identifying and implementing optimizations where necessary/applicable.
Use observability tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace to resolve identified security vulnerabilities within established corporate standard timelines.
Provide technical guidance and constructive feedback to project contributors and stakeholders, including writing, reading, and reviewing code and designs, and participating in the various technical feedback loops within the organization.
Partner closely with key stakeholders and senior leadership to refine functional requirements and define story work within areas of knowledge, then iteratively turn requirements into product enhancements that are delivered to customers incrementally and continually.
Mentor full-time software engineer and interns through technical onboarding, offering instruction on best practices, hands-on experience with pair programming, setting code quality expectations, and supporting complex problem solving.

Salary transparency ?
Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $116,800 - $150,000/year. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.?
