Description

We are looking for an experienced Finance Director to join our team in Westborough, Massachusetts. In this role, you will oversee all financial and accounting operations for our legal firm, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone who is detail oriented and thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all financial operations, including month-end and year-end processes, and financial analyses.

Supervise budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and accuracy in projections.

Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports to stakeholders, providing insights to support decision-making.

Monitor and forecast cash flow to optimize resources.

Lead a small team of finance staff, including accounting managers, billing specialists, and collections staff, fostering collaboration and efficiency.

Collaborate with leadership to align financial strategies with the company's overall objectives.

Requirements

Proven experience in financial management.

Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow forecasting.

Proficiency in using accounting systems.

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.

Expertise in month-end and year-end closing processes.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to communicate financial data clearly and effectively to stakeholders.

Comprehensive understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
