As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities as you protect critical assets and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide outstanding customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as required.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.

Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.

Document and report incidents, observations, and any unusual activity according to company and client protocols.

Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary, following established procedures.

Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas only.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
