Overview
Atlantic Health is seeking a dependable Administrative Assistant in the inpatient Rehabilitation Department at Morristown Medical Center to support the daily operations. This is a full time position, Monday-Friday, from 9a-5p and will require occasional weekends when there is a special event.

The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office and supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. The Team Member in this role will be responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.
In addition and more specifically:
Answers and direct phone calls, organizes and schedules meetings and appointments
Maintains contact lists, produces and distributes correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
Assists in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
Develops and maintain a filing system, orders office supplies
Manage LMS Learning System entries
Books travel arrangements, submits and reconciles expense reports
Provides information by answering questions and requests, research and create presentations
Generates reports and handles multiple projects
Prepares and monitors invoices
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school Diploma or GED, but a college degree is preferred and any equivalent combination of education, experience and training from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
The candidate must possess excellent customer service/organizational skills.
Preferred candidate should have a minimum of one year of medical office, health clinic and/or acute care hospital unit associate (clerical) or sec-tech (ancillary clinical staff) experience.

Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational planning skills
Proficient in MS Office
