Construction Materials Technician- Weekly Pay- Start ASAP
Location: Lead, SD
Pay: $32/hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7 am- 5 pm
The Construction Materials Technician will work underground in the historic Homestake Mine in Lead. The primary responsibilities include performing inspections, testing, and quality assurance on concrete materials. The role also involves reading and understanding construction specifications to ensure that concrete materials meet required standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform concrete material testing and asphalt testing as needed.
Read and comprehend construction specifications to ensure compliance.
Conduct quality control and quality assurance inspections.
Engage in soil sampling and testing activities.
Essential Skills:
Concrete testing and inspection experience.
Materials testing expertise.
Knowledge of construction materials testing.
Ability to perform soil testing.
ACI Certification in Concrete Field Testing.
Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs as necessary.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in construction materials testing or equivalent in the construction and/or environmental industry.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
10 Hour OSHA Certification.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.
