Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scanning barcodes to accurately track inventory, using a pallet jack to move boxes, packing boxes with the appropriate amount of inventory based on load sheets, and loading/unloading truck shipments. You will be expected to follow all applicable safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Scan barcodes to track inventory accurately.

Utilize pallet jack to move boxes efficiently.

Pack boxes with the correct amount of inventory based on load sheets.

Load and unload truck shipments effectively.

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in packing and material handling.

Experience with forklifts and pallet jacks.

Familiarity with RF scanners and order picking.

Experience in warehouse/distribution environments.

Knowledge of inventory control and cycle counts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must be able to lift 45 lbs throughout the shift.

Ability to work independently.

Competence in counting and performing basic shop math.

Work Environment

Join a small company that started in 2018, currently employing 13 full-time, 5 part-time, and 3 temporary employees. We are planning to triple our business this year. Our facility maintains a comfortable temperature year-round, ensuring a pleasant work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Akron, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
