Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Collierville, Tennessee. In this long-term contract position, you will play an integral role in managing the company's financial transactions and ensuring accurate record-keeping. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in accounts receivable processes.

Responsibilities:

Process and post payments received from clients accurately and efficiently.

Handle commercial collections by maintaining attentive and precise communication with customers to resolve outstanding balances.

Manage cash receipts and ensure all transactions are correctly recorded.

Prepare and review billing statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Monitor and reconcile cash activity to maintain accurate financial records.

Collaborate with team members to improve accounts receivable processes and workflows.

Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and maintain financial reports.

Address discrepancies in accounts and resolve issues promptly.

Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding accounts receivable status. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable processes, including payment posting and collections.

Strong proficiency in cash applications and activity reconciliation.

Familiarity with commercial billing functions and financial record maintenance.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis.

Excellent communication skills to manage client relationships and resolve issues.

High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
