As a Security Guard - Retail Patrol in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for all visitors. This is a driving post where you will conduct routine patrols and respond to situations as needed. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence.

Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.

Communicate clearly with team members and site management regarding security-related concerns and incidents.

Assist patrons and staff with directions, information, and general inquiries as needed while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Complete required reports and documentation for incidents, observations, and daily activities.

Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times to help to deter potential issues in the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
