As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing outstanding customer service, and communicating clearly with visitors and staff. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Fri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Control access to the location by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.

Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting employees and visitors with access procedures.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.

Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.

Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
