As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, manage badge access, and help to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and employees, providing outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following instructions from Allied Universal and site leadership.

Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to company and client procedures.

Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, and visitors to support a secure and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
