Job Summary and Qualifications

Duties:

Greet and register all visitors, ascertain their needs and direct accordingly

Converse with customers by phone or in person to obtain information needed to complete tasks

Confer with other staff members to obtain additional information and clarification needed to resolve customer problems

Answer all inquiries from customers promptly

Maintain a courteous and professional attitude with customers and coworkers

Assist with daily general employee functions such as, but not limited to, facilities requests, shipping and deliveries, conference room requests, visitor badges, distribution lists, seating charts/nameplates, employee programs and maintaining reception/lobby area.

Assist the administrative assistant team members with additional projects or tasks

Practice and adhere to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement"

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Communication - communicates clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing

Customer orientation - establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations; must demonstrate the ability to serve all customers with friendliness and a helpful attitude

Interpersonal skills - able to work effectively with other employees, patients and external parties

PC skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Basic skills - able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, spell correctly and transcribe accurately

Policies & Procedures - demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required

1 - 3 years' experience as a receptionist of administrative assistant or equivalent experience required
