Job Description

Position Overview:

Insight Global is looking for a Purchasing Associate to join a growing Aerospace Manufacturing Partner. This position will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials, components, and services to support production schedules. They maintain vendor relationships, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, processing purchase orders, and coordinating with internal teams to meet project timelines.

Duties and responsibilities:

Identify and acquire necessary materials and components to support production while adhering to aerospace quality and compliance standards.

Secure favorable pricing, delivery timelines, and contract terms through effective supplier negotiations.

Track inventory and process purchase orders accurately, ensuring all documentation meets company requirements.

Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships, addressing any issues related to quality, delivery, or billing promptly.

Skills and Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

Must come from a Purchasing / Supply Chain background.

General ERP experience and knowledge is a must.

Must be familiar with the PO Life Cycle: RFQs, Open PO Reports, Supplier Communication etc.

Must be familiar with MRO and OSP Supply Chain coordination. Ideally strong experience in Epicor ERP specifically.

An Aerospace or Automotive background.
