We are seeking a Junior Technical Writer to join our team, focusing on documenting processes within our Shipping, Assembly, and Materials Management departments. This role requires a proactive individual who excels at creating clear, concise, and user-friendly process documentation.
Responsibilities
Document processes for Shipping, Assembly, and Materials Management departments in a clear, concise, and user-friendly manner.
Update existing work instructions and create new ones for processes that currently lack documentation.
Spend approximately 75% of time on the operations floor to learn and document processes during operational hours.
Demonstrate strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple work instructions concurrently.
Communicate effectively to provide accurate status updates and work progression.
Essential Skills
2-3 years of technical writing experience.
Proficiency in technical writing, manufacturing processes, and warehouse processes.
Experience with technical documentation.
Proficiency in MS Word and Adobe.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must come from a warehouse or manufacturing background to understand shipping/receiving processes.
Work Environment
This position is 100% on-site with approximately 75% of time spent on the operations floor. Safety toe shoes are required. The work schedule allows for a start time as early as 6am or as late as 8am, with an 8-hour workday and a 40-hour workweek. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $31.00/hr.
