As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Duncan, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and foster a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support a welcoming atmosphere, while your strong communication and customer service skills will help you address concerns and provide assistance to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.

Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

Monitor the manufacturing and industrial location for unusual activity and report findings according to Allied Universal guidelines.

Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or authorizing entry as required by site procedures.

Document and report any security-related incidents or hazards encountered during patrols or while on post.

Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and communicating with site personnel and Allied Universal management as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
