As a Cleared Security Officer - Aerospace Site Patrol in Durham, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a secure environment for personnel and assets. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an aerospace and defense location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the environment.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and support access control procedures.

Complete detailed reports documenting observations, incidents, and/or activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.

Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors to provide assistance and enforce site policies.

Remain alert to unusual activities or conditions and promptly report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.

An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
