Job Title: Accounts Payable CoordinatorJob Description

Join a dynamic team as an Accounts Payable Coordinator where you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy and efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to work in a family-oriented environment within a leading civil construction company serving the Tri-State area for four generations.

Responsibilities

Manage and process invoices and purchase orders accurately.

Support the accounting and finance departments with clerical tasks.

Utilize Excel tools such as pivot tables and vlookup for data analysis.

Collaborate with the Payables Director and a team of seven specialists to ensure timely payment processing.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's Degree or at least 6 months of experience in an office environment.

Understanding of accounts payable processes.

Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and vlookup.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with accounts payable for a minimum of 6 months.

Familiarity with Viewpoint software.

Work Environment

Work in a supportive and collaborative setting, reporting directly to the Payables Director alongside seven accounts payable specialists. This position is within a well-established company, known for its leadership in the civil construction industry and its commitment to a family-oriented work culture.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmingdale, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
