Construction Laborer. 15 temporary, full-time positions. 04/01/2025 to 11/30/2025. Holsbeke Construction Inc. located at 239 N. River Road, Mt. Clemens, MI 48043. barb@holsbeke.com . Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all @types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers. 40 hours per week. 8-hour workday. Mon-Fri 8am-4pm. Up to 20 hours of OT possible. No minimum education or experience required. The employee will not supervise other workers. Travel will be required. Daily transportation provided by the employer to worksites Work will be performed in the following counties: Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne counties. Wage: $26.26 per hour; OT Wage: $39.39 per hour. Workers paid weekly. Housing Assistance: Employer will assist workers to find housing, housing to be paid by workers.

In accordance with applicable Michigan state law, Earned Sick Time Act 338, employers are required to provide earned sick time to their employees. The amount of paid sick leave provided may vary depending on the size of the business. We also offer PTO at a rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked. The benefits are usable after 120 days of service.

On the job training provided. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the company's sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill and tenure. Single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workers' reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence provided at a rate of at least $16.28/day during travel to a maximum of $68/day with receipts/documentation of actual expenses. H2B Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job, and guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12 week period of total employment period.
