As a Senior Estimator, you'll play a pivotal role in preconstruction, partnering with operations, design, and business development teams to deliver accurate, strategic cost estimates that set projects up for success. You'll mentor a talented team, influence major decisions, and help shape the future of construction.

What You'll Do

Lead the estimating process for large, complex projects from concept through completion.

Develop and refine cost models using advanced tools and market insights.

Coach and mentor estimators, fostering growth and excellence within the team.

Analyze project plans and bid documents, identifying risks and opportunities.

Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize cost and enhance project outcomes.

Engage with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clarity, confidence, and satisfaction.

Stay ahead of market trends, tracking material and labor pricing for accurate forecasting.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience).

5-10+ years of estimating experience in diverse facility @types (healthcare, residential high-rise, interiors, institutional).

Expertise in On-Screen Take-off, Destini, and site work software.

Strong conceptual estimating skills and ability to work with limited information.

Excellent communication and presentation skills-comfortable leading client meetings and interviews.

A collaborative mindset and ability to build strong industry relationships.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Albany, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $85.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
