As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Control in Gardner, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and communication will foster a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do:

Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to help to deter unauthorized entry.

Maintain detailed logs of all access control activities, including visitor sign-ins and badge issuance.

Assist with the implementation of site-specific security-related procedures and policies as directed by Allied Universal and client representatives.

Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols and using problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise.

Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and assisting individuals at access points within the location.

Conduct regular and random patrols of access points and perimeter areas to help to deter security-related risks.

Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations and coordinating with local authorities.

Communicate clearly and professionally with all individuals encountered while performing access control duties.

Minimum Requirements:

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
