As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Berea, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service. You will interact with employees and visitors, using your communication skills to support a secure environment. Pay Rate: $17.04 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while assisting with emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.

Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious behavior within the manufacturing and industrial location.

Document incidents and daily activities clearly and accurately as required by site procedures.

Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors to support security-related needs and site policies.

Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and site management relevant to manufacturing and industrial environments.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
