Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) Coordinator works collaboratively on multi-disciplinary work groups and projects. Initiates and facilitates activities to establish and enhance operational analyses, and other SCS activities and processes. Reviews existing freight data to identify Supplier Conversion opportunities. Collaborates with customers to report and implement the identified opportunities. Provides required support to the SCS Operations team including, but not limited to, data collection, input to RFP, vendor analysis, and compliance monitoring. Conducts research and analysis, benchmarking, and audits to ensure reasonableness and accuracy of information along with identifying and implementing best practices and process improvements.
Key responsibilities include:
Collaborating with clients and client leads to identify business problems and recommend actionable solutions.
Sending Call To Action (CTA) communications to suppliers, following up via email and phone, and tracking supplier responses.
Maintaining and enhancing client dashboards using Tableau and other visualization tools to support supplier conversion efforts.
Communicating CTA outcomes to clients and internal leads both verbally and in writing.
Researching supplier contact information and initiating outreach when standard conversion attempts are unsuccessful.
Supporting team operations by backing up staff and maintaining supplier conversion data, including responding to supplier inquiries and logging activity.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five (5) years' relevant experience in health care, supply chain logistics, finance, business, or nursing; OR, Master's degree with a minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience in health care, supply chain, logistics, finance, business, or nursing required. Certifications may be considered in lieu of experience.
Demonstrated personal computer skills, communication skills, problem solving, continuous improvement and teaming skills. Maintains a broad knowledge of Mayo clinical, financial, and administrative systems/applications and processes. Serves as a resource on department and institutional initiatives; shares knowledge with customers and colleagues. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Assists with SCM continuous improvement initiatives.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Must be adaptable and flexible in an ever-changing work environment. Able to handle/prioritize tasks simultaneously. Basic understanding of accounting principles. Works as a team to provide support to all departments; works with other areas of SCM to ensure exceptional customer service. Ability to manage time to meet required deadlines. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Commodity/Service line.
Ability to manage vendor relationships. Comprehension of customer requirements in order to provide solutions to product/service needs. Demonstrated analytical experience. Demonstrated project management skills.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in all aspects of SCM, with a focus on developing and implementing innovative strategies designed to reduce SCM expenses and/or enhance revenue related to freight spend
Demonstrated understanding of basic freight management methodologies and best practices
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience in Tableau is a plus
Advanced investigational skills, shows attention to detail, accuracy and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
Solid customer-service skills; anticipates, understands and addresses customer needs in a timely manner.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and develop constructive working relationships with others.
Ability to work independently and lead projects and activities.
Possess initiative, analytical skills, and an ability to operate with a high level of productivity.
Interested in long term growth opportunities, including supervision.
