We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This is a contract to hire position that requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and a strong background in managing accounts payable processes. The role involves overseeing invoice processing, ensuring timely approvals, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Process approximately 150 invoices weekly and oversee approval procedures across multiple centers.

Maintain regular communication with customers to address outstanding invoices and resolve discrepancies.

Execute weekly check runs and automated clearing house (ACH) transactions.

Ensure invoices are accurately coded and entered into the financial system.

Provide exceptional customer service while managing vendor relationships and inquiries.

Utilize Financial Edge software to streamline accounts payable operations.

Monitor and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial processes and reporting.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable management or supervision.

Proficiency in coding invoices and processing check runs.

Familiarity with automated clearing house (ACH) transactions.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively with customers and vendors to resolve invoice-related issues.

Experience with Financial Edge or similar financial software.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
