Description

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our client's team. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in finance and retail operations while contributing to process improvements within a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting functions, reconciliations, and retail finance to ensure consistency and accuracy across various tasks.

Responsibilities:

Oversee financial processes related to retail operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Perform account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and work instructions for finance-related activities.

Collaborate with team members to implement process improvements that enhance efficiency.

Support retail stores by addressing financial queries and providing guidance as needed.

Coordinate the handling of business licenses and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Train staff on finance procedures and best practices to maintain consistency across operations.

Monitor and analyze financial data to support decision-making and operational goals.

Assist in the preparation and review of materials related to accounting functions.

Ensure consistency in financial reporting and documentation across all retail locations.

Requirements - Proven experience in retail finance or a related field.

Strong understanding of accounting functions and reconciliations.

Ability to create and maintain detailed documentation and work instructions.

Skilled in identifying and implementing process improvements.

Familiarity with handling business licenses and ensuring compliance.

Excellent communication and training skills to support team members.

Proficiency in financial data analysis and reporting.

Knowledge of retail operations and related financial practices.
