The facility utilizes unique equipment during the manufacturing process, demanding a highly skilled Maintenance Department for safe, efficient, and reliable equipment operation. To meet these demands, our team is composed of multi-disciplinary individuals that possess the abilities to design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot anything from pneumatic systems to electrical and computer control systems.
Rotating Shift: 4 on - 4 off schedule, 7:00am - 7:00pm with rotating night shifts
Starting Pay: $28 - $32/hr
Shift differential of +2.75/hr
Additional 16 hours/month in average of built-in overtime
What You Will Do
Perform preventative/corrective maintenance on all facility and process related equipment to include make-up air units (MAU), natural gas fired generators, oil/water separators, cooling water towers, vacuum pumps, air compressors, variable frequency drives, boilers, steam systems, and associated equipment
Adhere to all engineering instruction, standard operation procedures, and all departmental procedures
Observe and follow environmental, health and safety procedures
Positively represent Collins Aerospace's company vision and support the management team
Know, understand, and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed and consistently implemented
Analyze and repair all malfunctioning equipment or systems i.e., Mechanical, Pneumatic and Electro-mechanical
Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with Distributive Control Systems
Maintain accurate maintenance records
Follow written and verbal instructions
Operate the following equipment and tools:
Forklift
3-ton and 5-ton Cranes
Kubota UTV
Various hand tools
Various power tools
Digital Multimeter
Perform water treatment analysis and take corrective action
Ensure a clean and organized work area is maintained
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a High School Diploma or GED

2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing/production environment
Qualifications We Prefer
Background in electrical systems troubleshooting and repair
Must possess and practice good people skills
Must have the ability to solve problems and exercise creativity to develop and/or implement practical solutions
Must have the ability to evaluate work and exercise judgment
Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office
