While in this role, you are responsible for proactive credit and risk administration of assigned portfolio accounts in Citizens mid corporate/middle market area. Primary responsibilities include

Responsible for proactive credit and risk administration of assigned portfolio accounts in the assigned portfolio.

Structuring, underwriting, and documenting new business, renewals and modifications as the credit expert within the first line of defense.

Provide client management support for assigned portfolio and direct client interaction on standard credit and risk follow-up issues.

Actively engage with Relationship managers on progress, issues, and challenges regarding a particular customer relationship or portfolio concern.

Handle multiple demands and competing priorities while meeting deadlines and schedules associated with maintaining portfolio and compliance with credit and risk policies.

Manage moderately complex credits.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.

3-5 years of experience in commercial credit analysis, underwriting, or portfolio management within middle market or corporate banking.

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of credit risk principles, financial statement analysis, and cash flow modeling.

Proficiency in structuring and documenting credit transactions, including renewals and modifications.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and internal credit policies.

Core Competencies

Ability to manage moderately complex credits and multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for direct client interaction and collaboration with Relationship Managers.

Other Requirements

High attention to detail and commitment to compliance.

Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.

Hours & Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: M-F
