Simon & Schuster is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator to join our Distribution Center in Riverside, NJ. . This role will support the Receiving department.

DUTIES:

Run pallets from the Receiving dock to the P&D stations for putaway.

Assist with unloading trailers if needed

Assist with putaway if needed

Assist with empty pallet tasks if needed

Troubleshoot LPNs that can't be putaway from P&D locations.

Any and all other duties required by department work load, as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Must have prior forklift experience and able to drive either a Pacer, Reach, Drexel, Turret, Long John, or Low Rider.

Ability to use RF

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Willing to work overtime as needed

WORK HOURS: 11:00AM -7:00PM

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies.
