The Department of Public Health's Children's Medical Services (CMS) is seeking a well-qualified individual to fill the position of Physical Therapist I .
All interested employees who currently hold the payroll title of Physical Therapist I are invited to submit a cover letter, their resume, and copies of their last two (2) performance evaluations.

Essential Job Functions
Provides physical therapy services including evaluation and intervention and developing home and school activity programs for children and adolescents from birth to 21 years of age, with certain medical conditions.
Making appropriate recommendations and referrals per assessment findings, documentation within agency guidelines and participation in their case management.
Determining functional goals and developing treatment plan.
Uses treatment approaches appropriate to the patient's needs.
Requirements
Must currently be a permanent Los Angeles County employee who has passed their initial probationary period and currently holds the payroll title of Physical Therapist I .
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work with all levels of staff and diverse agencies.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
Excellent organizational skills.
