Job Summary and Qualifications
Position Summary
The Supply Chain Director's responsibility is to lead strategic planning, ongoing operations, optimization, and enhancements for all ROi Supply Chain systems to meet performance and functional requirements of the business. This broad responsibility includes developing and maintaining a strategic roadmap, design documents, policies, standards, and operational SOPs for each application as well as the interfaces that connect them. The position must develop and execute project plans, cost estimates, and process improvement efforts and is measured against them. The position is the highest-level architect of the Supply Chain systems in its broadest sense, including application, operations, technical, data, and business architecture disciplines and is expected to develop and maintain knowledge of industry best practices. The position leads the team and coordinates through knowledge, experience, and expertise in business operations, application functionality, processes, workflows, data, and required organizational capabilities. The position must direct the team and interact with, and influence both internal and external resources from software vendors, ROi, customers, and senior leadership.
Major Responsibilities:
Formulate and define business scope and objectives through research and fact-finding, combined with an understanding of business and industry requirements and trends
Develop strategic planning documents comprising current state assessment, future state vision, and implementation roadmaps
Communicate effectively to gain consensus with operations staff and leadership and ROi senior leadership
Identify and resolve procedure or technology gaps and improvement opportunities in business processes
Develop a thorough understanding of business processes and flows to enable the analysis of business requirements and the development of solutions for the business functions
Build strong internal and external partnerships to guide business owners and stakeholders in identifying, prioritizing, and aligning business requirements, data needs, processes, and performance metrics.
Work with business customers to determine new processes and impacts to existing processes
As the highest-level architect and application expert, address questions and issues, and provide education and support related to application functionality, business processes, data content, testing, troubleshooting, data extracts/imports, and interaction with related modules.
Provide training for transitional periods such as go-live events, normal turnover of personnel, and significant business process changes
Guide the business through the change management process when adopting new software or procedures
Analyze and measure business processes/outcomes, and work with business users and technology owners to optimize those processes and outcomes
Conduct proto@types, developing functional specifications, and high-level business level testing.
Perform functional analysis, requirements, modeling of business processes, and high-level definition of test plans
Perform functional testing of technology solutions in an operational environment
Document business processes
Support transition of functional requirements to technical team for creation of technical requirements and solution development
Assists with planning, estimating, and ensuring success of system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
Oversee projects, track progress, manage risks, and communicate status to stakeholders and senior leadership as needed
Ensure systems adhere to ROi standards and policies
Participate in external and internal system audits
Performs other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Materials Management, Information Technology, or a related field Required
Master's degree in Business, Information Technology, or Healthcare Administration Preferred
5+ years of experience in a leadership role managing multiple projects in information systems solution delivery, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders Required
5+ years of experience in managing or ensuring application operational support Required
5+ years of experience in working with business, operations, and technical resources within a supply chain operations environment Choose an item.

Experience with Lawson and/or Tecsys Warehouse Management System
Extensive knowledge of supply chain applications and data and how they are applied to a multi-facility healthcare organization
