Job Summary
Responsible for complex billing process twice a month including charges to campus partners and reallocations to internal departments. Reviews transactions prior to billing to ensure accuracy. Implements evolving technologies to leverage efficiencies. Follows a detailed list of instructions and completes each task with accuracy and efficiency Manages recurring journal entries and coordinates with peers on updates. Creates other journal entries upon request. Audits and reviews financial transactions and requisitions on multiple platforms, balances accounts, and communicates with departments to improve financial literacy Understands and improves business process, including University applications and policies and relevant third party applications. Creates and provides financial and spending reports to department supervisors

Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries into accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions. Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures. Analyze and review budgets and expenditures for local, national, and private funding, contracts, and/or grants.
