About the role

Join a dynamic team supporting a leading Life Sciences client in Indianapolis, IN as an Environmental Health & Safety (HSE) Specialist. In this fully onsite role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring safety and compliance across high-impact construction projects. We're looking for a passionate HSE professional with 2+ years of direct construction safety experience who thrives in a collaborative setting and is ready to make a difference on the ground.

What you'll do

Support and manage HSE programs to ensure compliance with regulatory and client requirements.

Monitor safety performance metrics and assist in developing strategies to improve results.

Serve as an HSE subject matter expert, providing timely guidance to project teams and leadership.

Maintain and implement HSE plans, playbooks, and procedures to ensure consistency and effectiveness.

Identify opportunities to enhance safety outcomes while optimizing service quality and cost.

Address HSE-related concerns from client stakeholders with professionalism and urgency.

Collaborate closely with Project Management to support timely delivery of construction milestones.

What you'll need

High School Diploma or equivalent experience or General Education Degree (GED) required.

Working knowledge of federal, state and local health and safety, and environmental regulations is essential. Direct experience dealing with regulatory agencies and/or compliance officers is preferred.

GSP, ASP, CSP, CIH, CHST preferred.

Experience working in manufacturing, construction, and facility maintenance and management is preferred.

Pay range is $90,000 to $105,000 annual base.
