?Key Responsibilities:

Partner with project managers to set up and organize project financials, ensuring accuracy from the outset.

Manage monthly payment applications, coordinating effectively with subcontractors and client teams.

Oversee contracts, subcontracts, and purchase agreements, including the monitoring of insurance certificates, bonds, and lien waivers.

Track contract performance to ensure alignment with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.

Process and review change orders, amendments, and claims to manage project risk and preserve profitability.

Maintain and analyze project cost reports, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.

Work closely with project teams to address and resolve contractual matters as they arise.

Support financial procedures during project close-out, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.

Prepare thorough records for audit readiness and compliance purposes.

Assist with additional accounting functions as required.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

At least 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the construction industry.

Proficiency in construction accounting practices such as AIA billing and job costing.

Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entries.

Familiarity with financial software like Viewpoint Vista.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
