We've earned top honors for quality stroke care, gold level recognition for organ donation, and employing leaders in the field of cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation, providing the highest quality level of care.About the Role: Join the Heart & Vascular Institute team as an Administrative Assistant IV, providing high-level support to the HVI Central Region and the HVI Quality & Safety initiatives across the system. Perform multi-dimensional administrative tasks that require creativity and independent discretionary judgement to meet the needs of the team. Key Responsibilities: Support the HVI Central Region and the HVI system-wide Quality & Safety programs Coordinate complex calendars for multiple executives Manage on-call schedules Process reimbursements and purchase orders Help coordinate events Location:On-site 2-3 days/week at The Hospital of Central Connecticut (HOCC) and 2-3 days/week at Hartford Hospital (HH), based on team needs. Work Type:Hybrid (on-site split between HOCC and HH) Qualifications: High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience in a medical office setting considered Two years of secretarial experience Proficiency in the use of Microsoft applications High degree of confidentiality Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through Highly organized with strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities Strong interpersonal skills Why Join Us: Be part of a team committed to excellence in cardiovascular care and patient safety.
