Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Rocky River, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for managing essential financial tasks, including processing high volumes of invoices and ensuring accurate payment records. This is a long-term contract position that offers an excellent opportunity for someone eager to contribute to a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Process and manage over 200 accounts payable invoices each month with accuracy and efficiency.

Handle check runs and ensure timely disbursement of payments.

Oversee the coding and verification of invoices to ensure compliance with company policies.

Maintain accurate and organized financial records for all transactions.

Assist with ordering office supplies and ensuring inventory is well-stocked.

Collaborate with the accounts receivable team to support financial operations.

Use and maintain proficiency in accounting software, including Clubsoft (training provided).

Perform additional administrative or financial support tasks as needed to assist the team. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.

Proficiency in basic Excel functions and familiarity with spreadsheets.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to various responsibilities.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Willingness to learn and use new software tools, including Clubsoft (training provided).

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
