As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol Specialist in Tarrytown, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, visitors, and patients. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents, while your positive interactions will provide exceptional customer service. This is a driving position, requiring you to navigate the location as you assist in upholding a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations within a healthcare environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure atmosphere for staff, visitors, and patients.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards, adapting to the unique needs of a healthcare location.

Document and report any observed irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized individuals, in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.

Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as needed, maintaining professionalism and discretion at all times.

Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying identifications, and helping to manage visitor flow as required by the facility's guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
