Job Overview:

Location : 600 Commercial Avenue,Carlstadt,New Jersey,07072

Shift & Schedule: 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 12:00pm-8:30pm Overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for managing shipping, receiving, returns, carrier relations, order management, product management, and customer service. This role ensures prompt, accurate, and systematic handling of finished goods and raw materials while delivering outstanding customer service.

Position Responsibilities:

Check in and out truck drivers efficiently using Carrier Point (Ryder logistics software).

Accurately process all transactions, including legal documents.

Assign drivers to loading and unloading doors.

Coordinate material handlers to load trucks.

Complete bills of lading for drivers and obtain proper signatures.

Maintain office areas, including filing and general cleaning duties.

Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards.

Implement new procedures to continuously improve department efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Minimum 1 year of logistics, shipping, or receiving experience

Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

Minimum 1 year of experience with automated warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manugistics)
