As a Security Officer - Retail Screener PT in Mount Juliet, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and conducting access control. Your presence and attention to detail will support a welcoming environment for guests and staff. You will use technology and communication skills to interact with visitors, respond to inquiries, and provide an exceptional customer service experience. What You'll Do:

Greet and screen individuals entering the retail location, verifying credentials as required by site-specific policies.

Provide customer service by addressing inquiries, guiding visitors, and assisting with directions within the location.

Observe activities throughout designated areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and client protocols.

Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and interactions in accordance with site requirements.

Collaborate with retail staff and management to support a welcoming and secure environment for customers and employees.

Monitor and control access points to help to deter theft and/or loss prevention concerns within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
