Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and friendly Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Gardena, California. This role is ideal for an organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing excellent customer service. As the first point of contact, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth communication and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

Greet visitors and clients with a courteous and warm demeanor.

Manage inbound calls using a multi-line phone system, ensuring efficient routing and handling of inquiries.

Operate and maintain the switchboard system for up to 10 phone lines.

Provide accurate information and assistance to callers and visitors.

Coordinate front desk activities, including scheduling and maintaining records.

Ensure the reception area is tidy and organized at all times.

Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry and correspondence.

Collaborate with team members to address operational needs and improve processes. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a receptionist or similar role.

Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems, including switchboards with up to 10 lines.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to handle inbound calls efficiently and professionally.

Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.

Comfortable working part-time hours in a contract position.

Familiarity with administrative tasks and basic office software.
