As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Front Desk in Towaco, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and providing outstanding customer service while helping to deter security-related incidents. This role requires strong communication skills and a professional presence, as you represent Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and caring for people. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the front desk area of the location.

Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.

Respond promptly to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.

Maintain accurate logs and documentation of visitor activity, incidents, and other relevant information as required by the site.

Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols and guidelines.

Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
