As a Security Officer in Plano, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and employees, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns, all while delivering excellent customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both interior spaces and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.

Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records of activities and observations during assigned shifts.

Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.

Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to relay important information and respond to inquiries.

Follow all instructions and protocols specific to the location, particularly those required for an aero and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

At least two years of security-related experience is required.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
