As a Security Officer - Unarmed Bank Patrols in Richmond, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible throughout your shift. You will engage in regular patrols, respond to situations as they arise, and provide outstanding customer service to everyone on site. By promoting a secure environment and building strong relationships, you will contribute to a positive atmosphere that reflects Allied Universal's commitment to teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Pay Rate: $16.80 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access points and observe the premises for any unusual activity.

Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, visitors, and staff within the financial institution setting.

Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site protocols.

Assist with the implementation of security-related procedures specific to financial institution environments.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.

Being at least 21 years of age is required.

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.

Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
