Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Development Associate to join our team in Stamford, Connecticut. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in supporting fundraising efforts, managing donor information, and assisting with marketing and event coordination. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause while gaining valuable experience in the non-profit sector.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and update donor records in the organization's database, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.

Acknowledge donations promptly and assist with donor database management to ensure data integrity.

Provide administrative support for marketing initiatives, including collaborating with contractors to prepare external communications.

Work alongside management to update website content for programs and campaigns in partnership with the website contractor.

Reconcile donation records with the finance department to ensure accurate reporting.

Assist in planning and executing events, including the annual spring fundraiser, 5K Wellness Walk/Run

Support the development and execution of fundraising campaigns to meet organizational goals.

Requirements - Proven experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records.

Familiarity with donor database systems or similar software.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Experience supporting fundraising initiatives and campaigns.

Proficiency in providing administrative assistance for marketing or external communications.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external contractors. TalentMatch®
