What You'll Do

Plan & Purchase: Manage production schedules and purchasing to meet quality and delivery goals.

Collaborate: Work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, EH&S, Material Control, and Customer Service to resolve issues quickly.

Forecast & Optimize: Use analytics and MRP systems to anticipate needs, prevent shortages, and avoid excess inventory.

Drive Efficiency: Recommend process improvements for ISO 9001 compliance and continuous improvement.

Vendor Management: Build strong supplier relationships to reduce costs and improve service.

Documentation: Maintain accurate purchasing and planning records, reconcile receiving and accounting issues.

Safety First: Model and promote safe work practices in all activities.

What You Bring

Experience: 2-3+ years in manufacturing purchasing/planning.

Education: High School Diploma required; additional certifications a plus.

Skills:Proficiency in SAP and ERP systems.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Problem-solving ability in a dynamic environment.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and MRP systems.

Understanding of inventory control, material flow, and ISO standards.

Preferred Extras

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sturbridge, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $43.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
