As a Manufacturing Team Leader - Production Quality Assurance, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards in our manufacturing processes. In this role, you will lead a team of 16 hourly professionals, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards. Your leadership will directly contribute to delivering safe, high-quality products on time and at optimal cost.

Job Description
Role & Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing and quality assurance professionals.
Foster a culture of Respect for People, collaboration, and accountability.
Ensure team alignment with GE Aerospace's Behaviors and SQDC priorities.
Oversee quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
Monitor and analyze quality metrics, driving improvements to reduce defects and enhance product reliability.
Apply lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., Kaizen, Standard Work, Hoshin Kanri) to optimize production processes.
Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Ensure all manufacturing and quality assurance activities adhere to safety standards and regulations.
Promote a culture of safety and proactively address potential risks.
Maintain compliance with GE Aerospace policies, procedures, and industry certifications.
Manage daily production schedules to meet delivery targets and customer expectations.
Coordinate resources, materials, and equipment to ensure smooth operations.
Address production challenges and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
Provide regular updates to leadership on production and quality performance.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
Prepare and present reports on quality metrics, production efficiency, and improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field from an accredited college or university (or High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of manufacturing and leadership experience)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or quality assurance roles
Additional Information
This position requires U.S. citizenship status.
Ability and willingness to work on-site at the Bohemia, NY facility 7:00am- 3:30pm with some Saturday coverage, which is 6:00am-12:00pm based on business needs.
Desired Qualifications
Proven leadership experience in managing teams and driving results.
Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools.
Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles (e.g., FLIGHT DECK, Kaizen, Standard Work).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience in aerospace manufacturing or a related industry.
Familiarity with regulatory standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, or FAA/EASA requirements.
Six Sigma certification or equivalent lean training.

The base pay range for this position is $100,600.00 - 128,000.00 . The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 11/24/2025.
