Cooper Electric Supply, LLC we offer a supportive culture and great benefits, and as part of the larger Sonepar group, we can offer exciting opportunities to grow your career.What you will do:- Automation lead of 2nd shift warehouse associates reporting to the 2nd shift Dematic Supervisor.- Process orders using the Dematic Goods To Person (GTP) system- Oversee operator task assignments- Develop a familiarity with the associated Dematic automation software programs.- Monitor current order volume and ensure that the team is staffed to accurately fulfill all orders for the evening.- Assist the on-site automation mechanics with troubleshooting and addressing basic faults.- Work wiith inventory control to address inventory discrepancies and to ensure that the automation system has appropriate inventory levels.- Monitor the software system and quickly address any potential issues.- Escalate issues regarding staffing, inventory, automation, etc. to the appropriate shift supervisor.- Track and replenish supplies to ensure that all materials are available for the shift.- Review data and identify trends that can help increase efficiencies and/or improve processes.What you will bring:- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.- Attention to detail and good time management skills.- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.- Ability to exercise safety while carrying out all job responsibilities.- Initiative and eagerness to learn cutting-edge warehouse technology.Physical Requirements and Work Environment.- The ability to stand and walk for the full length of the assigned shift, which is typically 8-9 hours.- The ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 50lbs. - The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb steps and stairs.- The ability to work on a 2nd floor open mezzanine.- This job is performed in a large distribution center warehouse environment which can have fluctuating temperatures.Salary Range: $19-25/hr., varies based on experience. Location: Cranbury, NJ, Central Distribution Center Work Hours: This is a full-time Monday-Friday position with a 3:30 pm start.
