As a Security Officer- Hotel Site Patrol - Part Time in Portland, OR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations throughout the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with staff and guests as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols of the hotel premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

Observe and report any suspicious activity, maintenance issues, or hazards encountered while on patrol.

Support hotel staff and guests with security-related matters and provide assistance as directed by Allied Universal or site leadership.

Maintain accurate records and documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.

Remain visible and approachable throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence to guests and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
