As a Unarmed Security Officer - Manufacturing Site in Sunnyvale, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible throughout retail or mall locations. Your presence and strong communication skills will support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will be responsible for responding to incidents, assisting guests, and collaborating with team members to provide exceptional customer service. In this driving position, you will utilize your skills to observe, report, and contribute to a secure atmosphere, all while upholding the core values of agility, reliability, and integrity that define Allied Universal.

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail location.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols as appropriate.

Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter theft and/or disruptive behavior within the location.

Communicate and collaborate with retail staff and management regarding security-related concerns and observations.

Complete required reports and documentation accurately regarding any incidents, patrols, and observations made during the shift.

Remain alert to potential security-related hazards and report any concerns or unusual activities promptly to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
