About the Role:
As a CBRE HVAC Sr. Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems across multiple buildings.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, proactive performance testing, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You'll Do:
Install, troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building management.
Service heating, ventilation, air conditioning, commercial refrigeration systems and commercial kitchen refrigeration equipment.
Perform scheduled maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best course of action for equipment restoration and operation.
Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
Impact the quality of own work.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
Deliver own output by following standardized procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
What You'll Need :
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4 plus years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, peers, and leadership.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, Smartsheet, etc.
Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
Experience with SAP is recommended
Proven experience with safety background for industrial and chemical industry policies
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Senior HVAC Technician is is $73,000 annually [or $35.10 per hour] and the maximum salary is $78,000 annually [or $37.50 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
